The county clerk at the same address holds birth and death records before state-wide recording. Those years with an asterisk (*) are not complete. Those years with a double plus (++) are held either in book or microfilm form by the Kansas State Historical Society. Marriage records are held by the probate judge. The year indicated is the first known record continuing to the present.
